U.S. Rep. Mike Waltz addresses the crowd on Friday in The Villages

Among the speakers firing up the crowd was U.S. Rep. Mike Waltz of the 6th District.

The former Green Beret colonel ripped Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other politicians in her party.

“We are under threat,” he said.

“It’s easier to be in Afghanistan than Washington these days,” he said.

Democrats want to pack the Supreme Court, defund ICE and Border Patrol, and lower the voting age to 16, he said.

U.S. Rep. Daniel Webster rallied the crowd by calling former Vice President Joe Biden “Joe Hidin’ Lyin’ Biden.” He was referring to the New York Post story alleging that he received money from China and Ukraine through his son Hunter.

Candy Ganyo said she has a bumper sticker on her truck that says: “I don’t believe in political correctness. I believe in freedom of speech.”

That right was won the hard way by men like her father and brother, who were career military, she said.

Not only has the president worked to build up the military, but “he cries with the families when their bodies come back. No other president has ever done that,” she said.

Of course, not everything is about politics. Three women coaxed a muscular, tattooed security guard to pose with them for photos.

He agreed and was greeted with a gale of giggles.

If you're still fired up from the rally and want to cool off, hundreds of boaters will set sail on Lake Eustis and Lake Harris Saturday, showing their support for President Donald Trump.

The first parade in June brought in more than 600 vessels and there are already high expectations for Saturday's.

“We hope to double that number this time,” organizer Carolyn Maimone said. “It’s open to the public, there’s no cost and no registration. Just show up and get in line. The biggest thing is that we don’t want any trouble.”
